Quoting Coach Agcaoili
"Easily Brian is a tremendous athlete.  I have had colleagues look at him and they have unanimously commented, 'Athlete.'  I concur.  Not only is Brian a very good athlete, he is also very smart and a very good teammate to have.  Brian instinctively knows where to be on the court, works hard on every single play, and leaves everything out on the court.  He is quite the competitor.  Here is a young man who goes about his business, accepts his role, doesn't complain, and gives his full effort.  And, while he competes, he is an athlete that helps to elevate his teammates' play.  I have seen him sprint 15-20 feet to pursue a ball and play it up with control on more than one occasion.  Plays like that has lifted his teammates' spirits, encouraging everyone to support one another.  Brian is dynamic, efficient, and plays big, given his 6-foot stature.  His attacking skills on the left side places him up there among the better hitters on a peer level who play at the same skill position of L1.  There are times when Brian finds himself under the ball.  He will improve to not overstride, which will keep him behind the ball and allow him to be multi-dimensional on offense.  I have the utmost confidence that he will improve and be effective at the left-side hitter position.  I am honored to be his volleyball coach, and am very excited to witness his contributions to his team this season.  He deserves all the success he achieves.  I am proud of him."
