2009 3A State Boys Volleyball Champion
St Louis All Metro, First Team: 2010, 2009, 2008

From STLhighschoolSPORTS.com
2010 St Louis All-Metro Honorees:

"David Kelsheimer Sr. Chaminade
The last of the Kelsheimer clan to play for the Red Devils, this 6-1 outside hitter was the area’s kills leader, averaging 6.44. A pure power hitter, he added more touch to his hitting this season. He’s also a defensive standout, recording 281 serve receives and 168 digs. This three-time All-Metro first teamer (2008, 2009, 2010 honoree) will attend
[The Ohio State University]."

From STLhighschoolSPORTS.com 2010 Pre-Season Feature:

"David Kelsheimer Sr. Outside hitter Chaminade
This powerful hitter was a key cog in the Red Devils’ run to the Class 3 state championship last year. A nice all-around player, he was third in the area averaging 5.57 kills a game. Kelsheimer added some touch to his game this season and is relying on shot placement instead of pure power. A versatile player, he can be a setter, libero or a hitter in college."
